The Washington State DD Council, represented by Contracts Manager Kevin Vargas, participated in the 2025 Washington State Public Health Association Conference in Yakima as a poster presenter. Invited by the Snohomish County Health Department, the Council co-presented a poster on Guidance for Improving Accessibility of Public Health Communications, a paper commissioned and funded by the Council in 2024 to help local health agencies make their materials more accessible.
