The November 18th meeting of the Joint Legislative Executive Committee (JLEC) on Planning for Aging and Disability Issues will include a discussion about the overwhelming number of DDA clients who are receiving no paid services. Interested persons are invited to share their story during the public comment period. Please RSVP to Representative Randall’s legislative assistant who will assist if you need a call-in option or any accommodations. Written comments will also be accepted.
For those who may not be able to attend the Olympia meeting, or those who wish to attend both, a DD community meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13th 6-8pm. This meeting will be located again at Tacoma Community College, Building 9 (6501 S. 19th Street, Tacoma, WA 98466). Please RSVP to Representative Randall’s legislative assistant who will follow up with the room number and parking pass. Everyone will need a parking pass, so please mention any additional people you’re inviting.
