The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) is proud to announce that Emily Rogers has been promoted and will take the role of Public Policy Director effective June 1, 2023! Emily joined the DDC in 2014 as our Contracts Manager. Prior to coming to the DDC, Emily worked for the Arc of Washington State as the Self Advocacy Coordinator and the Arc of King County where she coordinated their Self Advocacy Project. With a focus on teaching people about advocacy and the legislative process, she worked with others to pass a number of bills that benefit our developmental disability community. Emily is a respected leader and advocate. Please help us welcome and congratulate Emily in her new role!
