Vickie (she/her) works as an advocate in many different capacities. She was a member of the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council and is currently an active member of Disability Rights and Allies in Advocacy, a group of people with disabilities who came together to strengthen the disability civil rights movement. Vickie has served on a number of boards, including the Rehab Council, and she has a special interest in medical advocacy. On a personal level, she has advocated for and cared for a number of loved ones.
