NextGen Synergy is a nonprofit platform operating as a community care hub that brings together providers, people with lived experience, families, clinicians, and policymakers to co-create lasting solutions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. We connect the dots between people, systems, and solutions, with a mission to expand knowledge, skill, and clinical capacity so people with co-occurring needs can thrive in their communities.
NextGen Synergy offers innovative supports at the intersection of behavioral health and developmental disabilities through our Echo partnership, which provides expert-led learning communities for providers nationwide. We lead Impact Teams and pilots that build clinical and community capacity while driving system change to break down silos and create sustainable, person-centered supports. Our DSP Workforce Development Grant grows a skilled, trauma-informed workforce equipped to serve people with co-occurring needs. Through collaboration, education, and leadership, we help systems adapt to meet the evolving needs of the people they serve.
