Bio:

I’ve dedicated my career to making sure students with disabilities get the support they need to succeed. As the Executive Director for Special Education and Special Services at ESD 105, I oversee a variety of programs and services for students in our region, especially focusing on transition services for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). As a parent advocate on the Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC), I bring a personal perspective to my work, especially since I have a son on the Autism Spectrum. This role allows me to advocate for policies and programs that help families and individuals with disabilities thrive. One of my proudest projects is the LINK program, which helps students aged 18 to 22 gain job skills and prepare for life after school. It's all about setting them up for success, both in the workforce and in the community. I also spend a lot of time supporting educators and administrators—whether it’s through professional development, advocating for policy change, or ensuring we’re staying compliant with state and federal regulations. At the end of the day, my goal is to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for students with disabilities.
