Working to make policies, programs and systems more equitable, accessible, inclusive and responsive to people from traditionally excluded communities.
What we plan to do
The Council will apply the principles of expansion, including equity, access, belonging, and representation, across its initiatives, partnerships, and advocacy to improve policies, systems, and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities within and beyond the traditional service system.
Key activity
Advancing Access Inclusion and Rights Across Systems
What success looks like
More policies and programs reflect equity, access, belonging and representation; culturally responsive navigation supports improve; and advocacy leads to stronger rights protections and inclusion.
