What we plan to do
The Council will bring agencies and partners together to improve integration between behavioral health and developmental disability services, promoting timely, person-centered supports, improving access to appropriate services and accommodations, and reducing unnecessary institutionalization.
Key activity
Coordinating Behavioral Health, IDD, and Aging Systems
What success looks like
People experience fewer crises and unnecessary institutional placements caused by gaps between systems, and people and families find services easier to navigate and better coordinated.
