De Anna Winterrose serves as the Transition Specialist and Parent Coalition Coordinator for Benton and Franklin Counties, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities as well as the families who champion them. In her role, she works collaboratively with schools, service providers, and community partners to expand meaningful opportunities in education, employment, and independent living.
As a grandmother of seven—six of whom are Autistic—and as an Autistic individual herself, De Anna brings a powerful combination of lived experience and professional expertise to her work. This dual perspective allows her to guide families through complex systems, connect them with essential resources, and help them build strong, enduring support networks.
Beyond one‑on‑one assistance, De Anna leads community outreach, trainings, and events that elevate family voices and promote person‑centered planning. Her work is grounded in the belief that every individual deserves the chance to grow, contribute, and thrive as a valued member of their community.
