The council adds new members to the council on an annual basis.
The council looks for membership in the following categories:
Individuals with developmental disabilities
Parents, guardians, or family members of children or adults with
developmental disabilities from throughout the state; and
Providers of services/administrators of programs for people with
developmental disabilities.
Council membership requires a commitment of 20-30 hours per month for
meeting preparation and council attendance. Council meetings are held
every other month over a day and half.
